The Guardian 2.0 represents our latest evolution in window opening control, combining a refined now side-mounted design with improved ease of installation and a stronger overall assembly. Easier to install than previous generations, it has been engineered to simplify integration while delivering greater reliability, consistent performance, and enhanced durability.
 

Its improved release mechanism provides a more precise, intuitive, and rapid release in emergency situations, while maintaining compliance with ASTM F2090-21 requirements. Building on proven functionality, The Guardian 2.0 introduces practical upgrades designed to better meet the needs of today’s window manufacturers.

  • Compliant with ASTM-F2090-21 standards limiting the opening to maximum 4 inches.​

  • Requires two consecutive actions to be fully disengaged.

  • Disengaging the device is intuitive does not require any special accessories,tools or knowledge.

  • Colored components to indicate distinct operational steps

  • Automatic reset to its original position when fully closing the window.

  • Easy on and off the field installation without any routing requirements.

  • Can be installed in both 11-13mm (7/16-1/2") and 16-17mm 5/8-17/64") standard hinge cavities.

  • Innovative dual pieces design eliminates any risk of arms bending.
  • Can be used on windows without reinforcement.
  • Austenitic 304 stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance and strenght.
